What a special wedding this was. Despite a challenging ceremony location, our first time shooting in the walled garden at High Billinghurst Farm, we captured a wonderful humanist ceremony. Carefully curated by their celebrant, bringing humour and emotion to the occasion, Jen + John really took their ceremony to another level with their personal input and vows. After a brief scare with the weather, the ceremony was a success – we even managed to fly the drone for their confetti walk down the aisle. The reception consisted of carnival games, two bands and a tent for guests to get refreshments and take shade from the July sunshine. After some heartfelt speeches and a brief golden hour shoot, Jen, John and all their guests tore it up on the dancefloor, with plenty of people playing up to the camera, which naturally we loved!
